Large estate pub at the top of Biddulph; now run by an enthusiastic landlord and one of the few pubs in town to serve real ale. Live entertainment is staged on Saturday evenings and there is a quiz night every Monday. The pub has been excellently refurbished, and there is a large car park to the side of the pub.

Guest beers are typically from smaller local breweries such as Beartown and Cheshire Brewhouse
