A traditional village pub on the village green, at the heart of the community, dating from 1845, serving high quality home-cooked pub food.
This handsome building has a roomy L-shaped bar with old beams and an open fire. Four cask ales from the Greene King list are available, with at least one being from the Greene King brewery itself.
The very-reasonably priced home-cooked pub classics menu is prepared from independent, locally-sourced suppliers and is served from 12 noon daily. A full breakfast menu is also served from 9am - 11am on Friday to Sunday. The Sunday roast dinner is also proving very popular. Pizza and fish & chips are also available for takeaway.
Live music events are held weekly, pub quizzes monthly, and there are regular dog walks. The pub also sponsors the local village cricket team.
This Pub serves 4 changing beers (from the Greene King list) and 0 regular beers.
