A two-roomed village local which sits in a commanding position on the junction of Chapel Street and Sitwell Street in the centre of Spondon. There is a comfortable lounge and a separate bar with darts and pool. On the front there is a small amount of outside seating high above the tricky road junction. The pub has been significantly refurbished on the interior [2021] giving a clean and tidy atmosphere. There are two hand-pulls installed but neither currently used. Reopened again on 1st April 2022 after another refurbishment which saw the exterior colour changed to green.
