Derby's first micro-pub is a small free house on the edge of a tree-lined conservation area, the site of Roman Derventio and one-time Viking stronghold. Conforms to the micro-pub philosophy: one small room and passageway, no music or fruit machines.

Entrance is directly into the main room with the bar set in the passage way at the back. Access to the small outside area is past the bar.
