Spacious two bar pub with a lively community bar and a large dining room where high quality food is served. Outside is a large family friendly garden. Two changing ales are usually available one of which is typically a bitter from Yorkshire. The popular Sunday roast is served from lunchtime until early evening.

Step free access from the front/street entrance and step free access to the bar and dining areas. There is a large step down from the bar area into the corridor where the toilets are (and there is no disabled toilet). The doorway from the dining area to the toilets is too narrow for a wheelchair. The rear entrance from the car park has a 3cm step.
