Conversion from shop unit.

Conversion to pub use of a former shop unit in a central location on the Market Square. The pub is open-plan with booth seating at the rear providing a more intimate drinking experience. There is an outdoor drinking area at the rear and also a small number of seats on the pavement at the front of the pub. It can often be busy at lunchtime and in the evening. Twelve handpumps dispense a variety of cask ales with changing beers from breweries across the country, often including a seasonal beer from Woodforde's Brewery. A beer festival is held twice a year. Good value food is available all day from an extensive menu and breakfasts are served from 8am until midday.
