Wetherspoon revitalised this historic 16th-century High Street pub in 2015 adding an attractive airy extension to the rear, housing a long marble bar with ample seating and an outside courtyard. The pub is busy with food being served all day from opening until 11 pm. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome until 9 pm. Note sparklers used on all beers.
