At the foot of Market Hill, this pub stands to the left of the bridge crossing the tidal River Chelmer in Maldon. There are two bars, function room, restaurant and an attractive riverside terrace, which is a suntrap in summer. Home-cooked food is available Tue-Sun. Children and dogs welcome.
