A traditional Essex weatherboarded pub that has featured in this guide for over 30 years- testement to the standards of this welcoming and thriving community local. The comfortable bar area with its open log fire is decorated with railway memorabilia. An attractive courtyard is popular in fine weather and a barn with wood burning stove provides shelter if required. Live Blues and Folk music is hosted monthly. Various charity events take place during the year.
