Large 'family' pub with restaurant, lounge and terrace. The large garden has play area and seating. Six beers served from Marston group of breweries. Was renamed Original Thomas Hardy in 2009 for a few years then reverted back to it's original name, the title of a Thomas Hardy novel. NOTE - At a recent visit (Jan 25) there was only one real ale available and at a higher than average price for the area.
