Located in the centre of the town it has a single room with a very welcoming feel. This is a friendly pub with no loud music, just good conversation, great beer and occasional live music. There are four cask beers and four craft beers on tap from local and national breweries. The current and up-coming beers are listed on a board. Real ciders are sometimes listed amongst the fruit ciders.

Entertainment is at least once a month. Not open on Monday and Tuesday, except on bank holidays when Sunday opening hours apply.
