Large suburban pub with two contrasting rooms. The large lounge serves as a dining area, while the smaller bar has a pool table, TV and sports theme. It also opens on to Hearsall Common. Pub meals are served during the week and a carvery on Sunday.

Re-opened under new management and re-branded as King Carveries in May 2025 after a short closure for refurbishment, and changed back to The Old Clarence in August 2026.
