Converted from off licence and hardware store in 1974 and now refurbished though retaining old, split level layout. Despite more emphasis on food and lager, the young managers take a pride in their well kept, traditional real ales and what had been a rather neglected pub has gained local popularity. TV sports, especially rugby. Mon quiz (except Bank Holidays and during Wimbledon Fortnight). Meals served all day at weekends.

The four changing beers now come from Sambrook's, Southwark, Twickenham and Wimbledon breweries.
