This is very much a homely pub, with close links with the local neighbourhood. Landlady Brenda has managed the pub for many years. Live music is staged on designated evenings. There is a small garden at the rear of the pub and a separate room which can be made private when required. Big screen TV is available when required. Travelling from Slough to Maidenhead go over Maidenhead bridge and into Bridge Rd and turn right just past parade of shops into Ray Street, the pub is straight ahead on right hand side.

Historic Interest

Before flood defences were installed pub was frequently surrounded by flood water, so subsequently name 'The Ark'
