CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales.

Formerly the Liberal Club, now a free-house open to all. The name refers to the adjacent Bachelors Acre. It has a full Premises licence and is open to the public, serving 3 rotating real ales. Two function rooms are available for hire. Live music is hosted at weekends. Karaoke is often on a Friday. Live sporting events are shown regularly on BT Sport and Sky (3 screens for showing different matches at the same time). The Acre has baby changing facilities. There is a multi-storey car park across the road. Food is not served, but paying customers can have their take-aways delivered here and enjoy them in comfortable surroundings. Cutlery and crockery provided.
