Refurbished by Hall and Woodhouse, this large pub/diner has a country house feel with oak panelling and shelving packed with interesting books. There is a separate drinking area. A green oak timber conservatory restaurant opens on to a patio and garden. Meals and snacks, including vegetarian, are served all day. The Uxbridge to Slough bus stops outside (last bus approx. 8pm but 6pm Sunday, which is now an hourly service).
