This friendly country pub is tucked away down a leafy lane off the Helston-St. Keverne road.. Up to 4 real ales may be on offer, with local Cornish brews much favoured - there is usually one other from the Skinner's range included. Previously the Old Court House Inn (commemorating the incorporation of the old local courthouse into the pub structure), it reverted to its earlier name of the Ship during 2006 although the upper level dining area has retained the Court House title. Food is home cooked and locally sourced, and is organic where possible. It is available Wed-Sat 1200-1400 and 1830-2100, with a traditional roast Sun lunchtimes (to 1430). Buses turn round in the village up the hill from the pub. (Opening times checked Jun 12)
