This popular family-friendly village inn in the heart of Landrake is named after the Buller family of nearby Shillingham; its origins as a coaching inn on the London-Cornwall road are still evident from the original cobbles outside and the stabling and smithy opposite. Largely open-plan, the pub nevertheless has two adjoining bars, one mainly for drinking and games, the other for drinking and dining. Pool and euchre are played, and entertainment includes live music, karaoke or dico evenings. Food is served lunchtimes daily, and evenings Tuesday to Saturday. Wednesday is curry night; price includes a pint or a glass of wine. Takeaways are also available. Buses stop on the nearby A38, near the foorbridge.
