Situated very close to the Anderton Boat Lift on the Trent and Mersey Canal and with its own moorings, the pub has a bright, modern feel to it with separate vault, lounge bar, and dining room plus a garden overlooking the canal. Northwich Community Woodlands is nearby offering the opportunity to stroll through Marbury and Anderton Country Parks. Campervans are allowed by arrangement on the car park. Refurbished throughout Autumn 2024. Reopened Dec 2025 under new management after a short closure. No food in the short term Dec 2025.
