This Grade II listed building with a magnificent stained glass window in the high ceiling, housed a Wetherspoons pub initially known as Lloyds in 2001, and later The North and South Wales Bank from 2021 to 2023. In 2023 it was re-opened by Ansloos Leisure Ltd as ‘The Midland’ and subsequently changed management again in January 2026 but still under Ansloos Leisure ownership. It can become very lively and noisy especially at weekend nights or when sport is shown on the multitude of screens.
