This Grade II listed building with a magnificent stained glass window in the high ceiling, housed a Wetherspoons pub initially known as Lloyds in 2001, and later The North and South Wales Bank from 2021 to 2023. In 2023 it was re-opened by Ansloos Leisure Ltd as ‘The Midland’. It can become very lively and noisy especially at weekend nights or when sport is shown on the multitude of screens.
