The Raven is a large pub surrounded by housing estates and woodland walking areas. There are two separate rooms, a traditional bar and comfortable lounge, plus a covered outdoor space and a roof terrace. Cask ales are sourced from local, regional and national brewers and there's an extensive gin list. The Raven is very much a community pub. Televised sport is popular and regular live music, Friday and Saturday nights and some Sunday afternoons, brings in a wider clientele. The emphasis for the live music is to provide a platform for local bands. See www.crewegigs.com for more information. Bar snacks, in the form of sausage rolls, pies, and baps, are usually available Friday to Sunday.
