Built in 1996, the pub was initially a Beefeater restaurant, called the Farmhouse, with an adjacent Premier Inn. The original farmhouse building was retained but not as part of the pub. The pub ceased trading as a Beefeater in early 2026 and reopened as a Wetherspoons outlet in September 2026.
