The pub is the home of the CAT Club (classic album Thursdays) and features monthly event and gigs upstairs in the pubs event space ‘The Pigeon Loft’. There is a ukulele band playing in the tap room Monday evenings and a popular quiz on Tuesdays. There are cosy snugs, open fires and two outside drinking areas. Typically offers two changing cask ales from Leeds and Kirkstall.

One of the oldest public houses in Pontefract the Robin has been a pub since 1791 when it was owned by the Duchy of Lancaster.
