Ancient and large village pub on small green in centre of village. A variety of comfortable spacious bars and dining rooms to suit all tastes and occasions, while the large beer garden leads on to the village childrens play park. There is also a sunny side-terrace and a village green at the front, with summer events such as markets and morris dancing. Up to four well kept local and national ales and a very good food menu. Very busy and popular with walkers/visitors to nearby Lathkill Dale. Open bank holiday mondays 11:30 to 20:00.
