Still known as 'The Bell', this was once a thriving local that was rebuilt substantially. Even the skittle alley was incorporated into the rebuilding, and now with disabled access from the large car park at the rear and re-branding as 'The Hungry Horse' it became popular with families. It then suffered a disastrous fire, but was rebuilt and continues to thrive as a lively standard Hungry Horse pub with extensive menu and even live bands. Luckily for the locals there is still a warm welcome from the friendly staff and the skittle alley is kept busy.
