Charming village pub unchanged in nearly 500 years.

Ideally situated for walkers and equestrians seeking access to the Quantock Hills.

Built in 1573 as the Shepherds Crook and now known as The Riser! The front door is original!

The Riser is vitally important to the local community and is well supported.

They are famatical about ales and supportive of local breweries.

There is guest accomdation and an extensive food menue.
