This 17th century pub is situated near Montacute House recently made more famous by the recent BBC dramatization "Wolf Hall".

You can eat in one of two dining rooms, in the quaint, atmospheric abbey room with views of the church or in fountain room with its relaxed, airy atmosphere, exposed walls and open fire place.

There is a dedicated meeting room available for business conferences – local clubs and charities are also able to use this facility free of charge.
