Set right in the heart of Exmoor, it offers twenty eight en-suite rooms, some with four poster beds, also a honeymoon suite. The long bar with large benches has two hundred malt whiskys available and 2 cask ales in winter rising to 4 ales in the summer season.

There are also tables outside set on the bank of the river Exe. An Exmoor safari in there own eight seater Land Rover is also available. The restaurant offers local trout and salmon and lobster, also game dishes. This pub/hotel is a real gem. Member of Exmoor Tourist Association (ETA) for accommodation requirements.
