This welcoming one-roomer, decorated with fascinating old photographs and cartoons, offers two real ales from Evan Evans (perhaps just one at the quietest times) in winter and one or two Westons ciders. Quiz night is Thursday, poker Sundays, open mic fortnightly. Small patio with benches can catch the sun. Generously filled crusty rolls are available while stocks last. This is one of the few pubs in New Quay which welcomes dogs - they are normally greeted with a fuss and a dog biscuit and there is a charity tin on the bar for the Dogs Trust.
