Grade II-listed coaching inn dating from the 16th century. Multi-roomed pub is popular with all ages. The bar offers two well kept ales from Evan Evans and seating. There is a small outdoor drinking area to the front and a large council car park to the rear with access to the pub down a short flight of steps. The covered area for smokers has its own TV showing sport. The pub opens Wednesday to Sunday. On occasions, particularly in the summer, the pub will close for private functions linked to the Cawdor Hotel (Across the road). To avoid disappointment it is advisable to phone ahead.
