This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

With rooms.

Dates back to the 16th century and is just outside the city walls near the bus station. Opened as a restaurant with rooms in April 2016 specialising in British produce. Primarily a restaurant, but non-diners are welcome in the bar and garden. Attractively refurbished with half-timbered walls. Meals vary from light lunches to set meals and a la carte.
