Bought from Greene King in September 2009 and reopened on 18th December 2009 as a pub/restaurant after a refurbishment. Decorated to a high standard throughout. The small bar has an elegant colour scheme and stripped pine floors with bar stools as well as tables. The other, bigger, room is set out for dining only. Food is clearly upmarket, classic dishes often made from locally sourced and seasonal produce, and includes a three course menu. Real ales are often served in Cambridge Beer Festival lined glasses as the owners are CAMRA members. The beers are from regional and national brewers.
