Bod, Newport

This is the fourth bod outlet for Titanic Brewery. Opened in September 2019 and converted from a bank. It is open 8.30am to 10pm except Mon-Wed, the bar from midday. It sports six handpulls; three regulars and one rotating from Titanic and two rotating guest beers, plus a range of keg craft beers dispensed from the back wall of the bar. It is styled a café bar, the decor being modern industrial chic with exposed galvanised pipework and marine style lighting bulkheads. There is a mezzanine floor and a small basement called the vault which is a leftover from the bank. Outside there is a small garden area which is only open till 8pm.

The food menu is available on the website and includes cakes, pastries and savouries. Breakfast is from 8.30 to 12pm, lunch from 12pm to 6pm. Children are welcome till 8.30pm, and dogs are allowed. A large public car park is available across the road behind the local shops where the buses also stop. The original bod cafe bar was on Bodmin Avenue, Stafford, and the name has been retained as a tribute to that first cafe bar.
