A family run pub in a cosy 17th century grade II listed building offering many surprises inside. Serving 4 real ales with many local guests and two draught ciders. Opening hours and food serving times in the winter can vary so please call ahead. Free book exchange. Extensive outside covered area with stage for regular music events and large rear sun-trap beer garden popular in summer. Traditional pub food served daily lunchtime and evening except Monday including fresh cobs and bar snacks. Now with bingo on Wednesday afternoon from 2.30pm
