Formerly belonging to G-A-Y Bar, in June 2026 London’s queer nightlife and cultural collective Coven took over this site, one of Soho’s most iconic locations. By day, Coven: Headquarters acts as a café, artist salon and community hub. By night, the venue transforms into a nightclub with live music and cabaret performances. The colourful catwalk queer space includes an antique fountain and a grand piano.

Coven founder (and actor and performer) Matthew Jacobs Morgan has said that the five-storey venue will establish a safe space for all members of the LGBTQ+ community. The project has been supported by Soho Estates, as part of efforts to invest in and sustain queer cultural spaces in Soho.
