Since the new owner took over 6 years ago, The Glassy Junction, formerly The Malt Shovel, has been transformed into half pub bar, half Indian restaurant.

The locals in the bar enjoy lively conversation, TV sports, varied music on the jukebox and darts matches. The pub fields a team in the local darts league.

The restaurant at the rear of the pub, welcomes visitors from and wide, attracted by the quality Indian food.

A recent addition is the outside covered beer garden/patio area.

A function room catering for 50 people is available.
