Wellington are marketing the pub for sale via estate agent Sidney Phillips for £295,000. The community group Bring Back Hit or Miss previously secured around £60,000 in pledges of time and money, but local fundraising and social media channels (such as their Facebook group) have largely gone quiet or inactive, and the property has not yet been successfully purchased or re-opened. Previous applications to list the pub as an Asset of Community Value (ACV) were also turned down by Wiltshire Council. The last post to their Facebook group was in Nov 2024.
