Low-beamed, traditional village pub adjoining cricket pitch and dating from circa 1800. It has an open-plan format but with a rustic, multi-roomed feel. There is a restaurant area to the left side of the pub and a general drinking area to the front and right. The L-shaped bar in the centre has four hand-pulls for real ales but, when visited in December 2025, only three were in use. An extensive collection of Toby jugs is displayed above the bar. Good-sized car park and lots of picnic benches fronting the pub and also to the rear overlooking Tong Manor cricket ground.
There is no bus route through Tong Village. The nearest bus is the 425 at Westgate Hill approximately 1 mile (20 mins walk) away.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
