Warm and welcoming traditional local on the outskirts of Bradford set back from the road with a large car park. Inside, it has three distinct areas with very different feels. The bar serves the smart lounge, with another smaller room to the side. A further lounge is located to the rear. Four varying cask ales are always available generally from local and regional breweries. Cask ales are sold at a reduced price on Mondays. Thirteen keg taps dispense a range of mass produced beers and ciders. The large beer garden to the rear includes an outside bar and pizza oven. A weekly quiz is held on Wednesdays from 9pm. A "Rock n Roll Bingo" takes place on the first Sunday of the month from 9pm. An "open mic" night is held on the first Tuesday of each month from 8pm and there are occasional live music nights at other times. On the main bus route between Bradford and Wibsey.

The pub may open earlier Monday to Thursday during the summer.
