Friendly single bar local with interesting memorabilia of old town pubs on display. This may once have been called the Railway Tavern; a reference to the nearby Eastgate station (on the now-closed Bury-Long Melford line.

Historic Interest

A commercial inn of the same name was listed at the Butter-market before 1833. So this beer house was probably opened sometime soon after that date.
