Suburban interwar pub in the mock-Tudor style. Smartened up in recent years. Decent patio garden at the back and side, plus more seating at the front with a shelter. Ex-Cannon Brewery, Allied, Punch Retail, Spirit, transferred to lease in 2006. In Aug 2017 was selling Old Golden Hen on handpump at £3.70 a pint. But in April 2019 this had been stopped, no cask beer.
