Started life as a dairyman's shop by 1848 and became the Horse and Groom by 1871. It was Grade II listed in 1975 and assumed its present title in 1991. Beer garden.

Nov 2025 - "No cask beer but the pub is justly famous for the quality of its draught Guinness."
