You want to visit - You have this in

In a small, rural, peaceful village, the Talbot opened circa 1832 despite vehement opposition from the local parson's wife. The building is predominantly stone-built with a long, low bar with beams and an inglenook fireplace. One of the regular beers is brewed by a local microbrewery. The more inquisitive visitor will find the dining room behind the inglenook; good home-cooked food is offered. The pub is popular with walkers from the local downs and cyclists on the 160-mile Wiltshire Cycle way. Note that there is no mobile phone signal, however there is internet access.
