A true community pub at the heart of this attractive village on the edge of Thirsk. Several beer or cider festivals each year use the outside bar at the rear. Inside there are several drinking areas with occasional live music and good, no-nonsense food all day ranging from bar snacks to Sunday lunches (booking advised). Guest beers usually from Yorkshire breweries.
