Welcoming community-owned free house which survived near closure after a lively campaign by villagers and is now thriving under community ownership. Separate drinking areas offer comfortable seating around a central bar. Coffee mornings on Mondays and Thursdays, and regular quiz nights contribute to local charities.Every September the village is host to the Hunton Steam Gathering.

The latest of the branch's community-owned pubs. Branch Pub of the Year 2023 and 2024. Runner-up as Yorkshire's Pub of the Year in 2025.
