Smart, palatial pub on Newcastle's High Street, describing themselves as a "Victorian Gin Palace", opened in 2017. Elongated and comfortable; there is an upstairs room that can be hired for private parties and people with walking difficulties are advised to use the rear entrance, thus avoiding the steps at the front of the pub.

NOTE - January 2026: hand pumps removed so no cask available. A couple of bottled beers are available.
