This three-roomed pub comprises a main bar, another room set aside for games, and a back snug that doubles as a meeting room. A minor refurbishment has not changed the original feel of this 100-year old house. It gets busy for televised sport, but a warm welcome awaits all visitors. Longton bus station is a half-mile walk. Refurbished and re-opened as a Free House in February 2018. AWARDS: CAMRA Potteries Pub of the Month November 2018.
