Historic Interest

For over fifty years was a Voses U.C.P.(United Cattle Products Ltd) Snack Bar & Restaurant. It was a Bar for the younger set from 2004 to 2013 when it closed. Alas, not serving cask beer just like many of the other similar late bars nearby. Upper windows show a large M in a circle as a logo of McCauleys and 'Best Bar Bar None' is written in the boards above the ground floor windows. Rather unusually for a pub it had a cash machine outside. It reopened July 2015 but lost its licence in 2017.
