Built in 1972 in the "new" village on the site of old army barracks. Named "About Time" until 1976 and later the Montgomery of Alamein. Refurbished and renamed Barracks Bar at the end of 2013 and now renamed Monty.

Good value meals form the kitchen are available Wednesday to Sunday, and it also opens for breakfast on some days.
