This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

What was a run down ice cream parlour on the river side a couple of hundred metres from Richmond Bridge is now Stein's Bavarian Restaurant and continental beer garden. It was established in 2004 and serves 100% German food and beer from Munich. Opening times in the winter its 12 noon - dusk. If you want to drink, you need to buy some food. First, find a table - there are large tables, great for groups of happy beer swillers. Then, remembering your table number you go up to the counter to order your food and then to another counter for your beer.
